Summer opening hours start on 1st April – March Newsletter
After a very busy winter, I am looking forward to welcoming visitors for the summer from 1st April. This means we will be open Good Friday and Easter weekend, so the perfect chance to enjoy a little bit of tranquility on a busy bank holiday. As you can see from the photos, the plant nursery is full of wonderful plants and The Rill has had a good spring clean!
Over the winter we have also planted up a new rose bed, which you can read more about here. I am sure our regular visitors will love seeing this new bed grow and mature over the summer.
As ever we have a series of workshops – we have just managed to book in willow-weaver Leilah Vyner for two days – the first being on the 28th April. Read on to find out more about our spring events. After the success of last year, I will be running my monthly garden walks, starting on May 6th, details and dates can be seen here.
Our Tea Room is always a highlight of any visit to Stillingfleet Lodge. Maya is our new cake maker and I know you will love her baking as much as I do. There will be a new face in the tea room this year – Joan will now be in charge, so please pop in and say hello.
2026 is looking like being another exciting summer and I can’t wait to share it with you. Read the rest of the newsletter here
