Watercolours are a beautiful way to capture both the garden and the individual flowers at the height of summer. We are delighted to welcome Jeremy Ford back for his third year here as the course tutor for this day-long watercolour painting workshop. He will help you make the most of this medium using our garden for inspiration, offering practical advice on outdoor painting and help you develop your watercolour painting technique.
Materials required :
- Watercolour paints
- Watercolour brushes
- Watercolour paper & board, or watercolour sketchbook.
- A jam jar
- A folding seat
- A packed lunch
About Jeremy Ford
Jeremy studied Graphic Design at Southport College of Art, (1972-5) and Illustration at Harrow College of Art, London (1975-8) and has been a professional Artist and Illustrator since then, working on a wide variety of books, magazines, and greeting cards.
Jeremy is well qualified to help you to learn and enjoy painting in a friendly informal atmosphere.
If you enjoyed the water colour painting course, you may also like to visit the Art in the Tea Room exhibitions throughout the summer.
All courses include entry to the garden plus welcome coffee and biscuits. Unless stated, materials are provided and you will leave each workshop with plenty of reference information.
Workshop fees cannot be refunded if you cancel less than 7 days prior to date of workshop.
