September – Nature in Many Forms – Veronica Ongaro
We are delighted to welcome Veronica Ongaro back to exhibit in 2026 after several successful exhibitions here. With nature as the both a source of inspiration and the driving force of Veronica’s work, her varied work is always popular among our visitors. Nature’s colours and their combinations; the shapes and patterns; the simplicity and complexity of the natural world, in constant change, are represented in her linocuts, woodcuts, etchings and stained glass, examples of which will form this exhibition.
Veronica is a biologist who moved to York in 2000 to continue her studies in plant biology at the University of York. Since then, and concurrently with her line of work, she does printmaking, stained glass and ceramics.
You can read more about Veronica on her Instagram here.
