September Newsletter
It feels like we have blinked and missed the summer of 2024, there are just 6 opportunities left to vists us before the end of September (including this weekend) but it looks like the sun is finally going to shine!
Despite the weather, our 40th anniversary year has been a busy one with quite a lot of media interest – I was even the subject of a photoshoot. We are delighted to be part of York Environment Weeks this year and if you are interested in joining a free walk round the garden tomorrow morning (18th) there are still some spaces, meet me at the entrance hut at either 10:00 or 11:00. More details here.
We are also opening exclusively to season ticket holders in October, more details below. The 2025 season tickets are already on sale, so if you would like to join us for our October event it would be lovely to see you. Over the next couple of months we will start planning events for next summer, so please follow us on social media for up dates.
I am busy planning next year’s plant catalogue and we will have several new plant varieties in stock. Now is an ideal time to plant for next summer and there are lots of plants that are about to flower to add autumn colour to your garden. Although the gardens will be closed from the end of September, remember that you can still email plant orders over to me in the winter and arrange a mutually convenient to to pick them up.
I look forward to seeing you soon.
