Behind the Scenes in the Garden

The garden will be open for one morning this October for this exclusive event for Season Ticket Holders plus a guest.

This is a chance for you to explore the garden as it takes on stunning autumn colours. See how the many fruit-bearing trees provide vital food for the birds and how wildlife is given a place to overwinter. For some of the trees, it is the bark that adds interest and structure to the garden. Vanessa will also be out and about in the garden for you to learn more about the plants that are looking their best at this time of year and find out what we do over winter to prepare for next year.

The tea room will be open for you to enjoy a warm drink and cake with some of the many other people who love our garden. It is also a chance for a little retail therapy as we will have a selection of our locally sourced and ethical gifts for sale.

Entry is free for holders of either the 2025 or 2026 Season Tickets. Not bought a season ticket yet? You can buy a 2026 ticket here for an Early Bird Price of £24.

You can bring a guest too – but they will need to buy an entrance ticket at a cost of £7.50 – book their ticket below.
