Linocut and Cushion Printing with Rachel Jones

On this full day workshop you will learn how to design and carve your own linocut with local artist, Rachel Jones. You will then print your design onto a beautiful natural cotton/linen cushion cover to create a unique piece of art for your home. You will leave with your cushion cover and your linocut that you can use for your own printing at home.
This workshop is suitable both for beginners or those with prior experience of linoprinting. Plenty of guidance will be given throughout and there will be art books and ideas available for design inspiration. If you already know what you‘d like to print then do bring a picture with you on the day. All materials are provided.
We are delighted that Rachel will be leading this workshop just a few weeks after her Art in the Tea Room exhibition, “A Celebration of British Flowers.”
All courses include entry to the garden plus welcome coffee and biscuits. Unless stated, materials are provided and you will leave each workshop with plenty of reference information.
