Behind the Scenes in the Garden

We are pleased to be opening the garden for a second afternoon this October. Enjoy the autumn colours and discover the work we do behind the scenes.
You will see how we are preparing for winter to ensure the beds are full again next spring. You will also be able to find out about propagation of plants to be sold on in the nursery and some of our plans for 2024.
The tea room will be open for drinks and cake and the gift shop area will also be open, perfect for stocking up on locally produced Christmas gifts.
Entry for 2023 ticket holders will be free, but please book using the ticket button below. Please have your season ticket with you to show at the entrance hut.
For non-season ticket holders, regular admission prices apply. Please book below.
Early bird season tickets for 2024 will be available to buy on the day.
All courses include entry to the garden plus welcome coffee and biscuits. Unless stated, materials are provided and you will leave each workshop with plenty of reference information.
Workshop fees cannot be refunded if you cancel less than 7 days prior to date of workshop.
