Using Colour and Foliage in the Garden

Foxgloves "Digitalis"

July 6, 2022 at 10:00 - 12:00

Cost: £40

Join Vanessa for this workshop that celebrates the role of foliage in the garden and particularly how it works with colour.

Learn how to keep colour and structure in your garden throughout the summer and discover the plants which give shape and texture to your borders and planters.
The morning will be spent looking at the many foliage plants here at Stillingfleet and how they form the backdrop for an array of colour palettes. We will be talking about plants which are hardy in Yorkshire so nothing tropical!
We will cover a wide range of plants including shrubs, perennials and grasses and then walk round the garden to see how colour and foliage is used here. You will receive lots of plant lists to help you take inspiration back to your own garden.

All courses include entry to the garden plus welcome coffee and biscuits. Unless stated,  materials are provided and you will leave each workshop with plenty of reference information.

Workshop fees cannot be refunded if you cancel less than 7 days prior to date of workshop.
