Chris Moss will guide you through the process of making a wire stag’s head for you to display in your home. This course is perfect for those of you who have previously enjoyed Chris’ courses and want to explore a design that can be used in the home – the stag’s head is popular as part of Christmas decor.
Chris uses both new and recycled metal materials to create her sculptures that are mainly of wild and domestic animals and birds. Each of her works are an original study of anatomy and behaviour and she gives a sense of life and energy to her subjects, ranging from small birds to life-size dogs and horses. This is the approach she will be sharing with course participants so that you can take your own unique sculpture home.
All courses include entry to the garden plus welcome coffee and biscuits. Unless stated, materials are provided and you will leave each workshop with plenty of reference information.
