Looking at Foliage as an Asset in the Garden

Rheum showing purple foliage

July 29 at 10:00 - 12:00

Cost: £35

See how to make your garden interesting throughout the summer.

Discover the plants which give shape and texture from grasses to Hostas and many in-between.

We will be talking about plants which are hardy in Yorkshire so nothing tropical!

Join Vanessa for a morning spent looking at foliage and learning how it can become an asset to any garden.

On this course you will learn how and where to use coloured foliage as well as looking at different shapes and textures to make sure your garden is interesting even when not a riot of flowers.

We will cover a wide range of plants including shrubs, perennials and grasses and then walk round the garden to see how foliage is used here. You will receive lots of plant lists to help you take inspiration back to your own garden.

All courses include entry to the garden plus welcome coffee and biscuits. Unless stated,  materials are provided and you will leave each workshop with plenty of reference information.

Please note that workshop fees cannot be refunded if cancelled less than 7 days prior to date of workshop.
